In the interests of improving our coverage, readers are invited to submit
abstracts for publication, from journals which are not being routinely
scanned by  LA . For example, articles falling within the scope of  LA  are
likely to appear from time to time in journals of psychology, anthropology,
sociology, physics, etc. , and of course in the various journals which deal
with the branches of applied linguistics. Readers of these journals who spot
a relevant article are asked to get in touch with the  LA editor at the
following address before submitting an abstract, in case the item has
already been abstracted:
