During the month of April, we paid attention to what users liked most
about our web site. We've taken this information and your comments to
build what we hope will eventually be the best source for current and
interesting Macintosh information. We understand that people want
information as it happens, not a month from now in the next issue. We
understand that frequent news is important. We understand that all of our
information has to be easy to access. Taking this into account, we've
launched our new, improved web site! Please feel free to send any
comments or questions about our layout to kepler@rust.net!

New Main Page
To make information easier to access, we've focused most of our content
onto the opening page. From our simple 3 column design, you can
access the latest news, feature articles, columns, and our services (such
as the free MacNow News Updates mailing list). The design is simple yet
hopefully easy on the eye. We'll be working to tweak this layout over the
next month based on reader feedback.

New Issue Format
In a world where time is everything, we've introduced a new issue format
that will be easier and more intersting for all. Every 1-2 weeks, a
"feature" article will be written, providing an in-depth look at an event
or new product. For example, our first feature (coming within a few days)
will cover the latest web browsers, such as Navigator Gold and Mosaic
3.0b2. Don't worry, the columns in our April issue will be coming back
for May and beyond! Each week, we'll publish 2-3 different columns. For
example, we're displaying Net Fever, Beyond Silicon, and MacTrivia
this week. Next week, look for Goldstein's Review and Mac Of All Trades.
This will make work easier for us at MacNow plus provide you, the
reader, with more information in less time.

DocMaker Our DocMaker issue will be turned into a "Best Of MacNow" type
issue. Every 2 weeks, a DocMaker issue will be released featuring articles.
Our DocMaker issue will be turned into a "Best Of MacNow" type issue. Every
2 weeks, a DocMaker issue will be released featuring articles and features
from our web site, as well as other items of interest. DocMaker issues will
NOT contain News however, we're offering our News Update Service (the latest
news via E-Mail) as an alternative.

More To Come!
In the coming weeks and months, more improvements will be made to our
design and layout to provide the reader with the most enjoyable and
entertaining expierence possible. We're always ready and wiling to hear
your comments, send them to the address above! Although we may not
reply to all comments, we will read them and take them into account, that
is a promise!

Enjoy the new MacNow!
