Welcome to MBEMAG, the Web site of Minority Business Entrepreneur (MBE)
magazine. MBE is a bimonthly publication for and about minority and women
business owners. We also offer information on Women's Business Exclusive,
a newsletter exclusively for women business owners. 

The development of minority and women owned business is the cornerstone of
building strong, healthy communities in which each individual has the
opportunity to live to his or her fullest potential. 

That is the philosophy on which MBE magazine was founded in 1984. A decade
later, MBE has only grown stronger in its commitment to economic parity as
a lasting solution to the ills of poverty and discrimination. MBE magazine
serves to: 

Inform-by reporting on issues critical to the growth and development of
minority owned firms; 

Educate-by examining the purpose and intent of minority business
development legislation and programs; and

Inspire-by featuring in-depth profiles of successful entrepreneurs in a
wide range of industries whose accomplishments make them outstanding role
models for others. 

MBE magazine also serves as a forum for minority and women business
owners, corporations and government agencies, working together to better
the lives of all Americans.
