The Journal's Aim

The original papers in this journal provide valuable clinical and
experimental research data on the normal physiology and disorders of
mineral and electrolyte homeostasis. Concise reports present new findings
concerning calcium, potassium, sodium, magnesium, phosphorus, acid-base
and water metabolism as well as hormones, trace metals and vitamins.
Biochemists, nephrologists, endocrinologists, nutritionists and internists
all find the journal useful for understanding such clinical problems as
bone disease, renal osteodystrophy and diseases related to disturbances in
mineral metabolism.  The international impact of the journal is shown
through the high quality of manuscripts being submitted and the growing
number of citations.
