A Research Resource for Science Writers, Educators, Students
For almost a quarter-century between 1970 and the end of 1992, the
National Science Foundation enabled a group of the nation's best science
writers to produce authoritative, definitive articles about research in
process for the Foundation's MOSAIC MAGAZINE. This was the magazine that
NSF distributed to its scientist/grantees to keep them abreast of work in
their own as well as parallel fields.
These hundreds of articles are often still more current--and more
readable--than most text- or reference books and more authentic than
anything else of their kind. As an archive, they have become an invaluable
research resource for writers, teachers, students, researchers and others
wanting background in almost any field of scientific research.
Unfortunately, MOSAIC articles are no longer generally available.
Fortunately, they are now as close as your modem or fax machine. Copies of
MOSAIC articles that match your precise interests can be secured from the
MOSAIC MAGAZINE Science Articles Archive by E-mail, mail or fax, using the
the accompanying searchable Articles Listing* and Request Form.
