The aims of Fundació Caixa Catalunya are:

* To foster and develop culture.
* To promote and popularise artistic and scientific activities, to  
preserve and popularise the Gaudí heritage at the Casa Milà, La  
Pedrera, home of its Cultural Centre.
* To organise exhibitions and activities at the Caixa Catalunya  
Cultural Centre, La Pedrera.
* To organise travelling exhibitions and activities in the region  
where the Caixa Catalunya has a presence.
* To co-operate with other cultural organisations and institutions  
sponsoring and supporting non-profitmaking organisations.

Fundació Caixa Catalunya has an important publishing archive centred  
basically on the study of the work of Antoni Gaudí and La Pedrera as  
well as catalogues of the shows held in the Cultural Centre  
exhibition hall and the twice yearly magazine Nexus.

Nexus focues on issues relating to the present state of Catalan
culture.
