The Asociación para la Enseñanza del Español como Lengua Extranjera
was established in 1987, founded by a group of professionals concerned
about creating a means that would guide an emerging movement around
the world interested in the Spanish language and culture. It also
aimed to answer the need felt by many who are involved in these
activities, whether in the field of teaching or research, to establish
open forums that serve to exchange ideas and experiences and receive
training and information.

The Boletín serves the Asociación by publishing articles, classroom
experiences creative writing (stories or poems), book reviews, news,
etc..
