PAA Affairs, the official newsletter of the Population Association of
America, is now available over the Internet via WWW and gopher.  The
purpose of PAA Affairs is to report to PAA members news of the
Association in particular and of the profession in general.  The
newsletter includes updates on:

 * grants and fellowships
 * research awards and competitions
 * a demographers' employment exchange
 * new data and publications available
 * new demography resources on the Internet
