Pacific Economic Review is a double-blind refereed journal expecting high
standards from its authors. It covers all areas of economics, both
theoretical and empirical, and in particular, analysis of economic issues in
the Asia Pacific area. The journal is of interest not only to the
academic community, but also to the government and corporate sector.

Pacific Economic Review is the official publication of the Hong Kong
Economic Association and has a strong international board of editors.

>From 2004 Pacific Economic Review will feature a fourth issue that
focuses on Asia Pacific Business and Economics. Sponsored by Nihon
University Graduate School of Business, this issue will publish research
findings mainly on policy and business applications, without excluding
theoretical and empirical studies, particularly those related to Japan. 
It will meet an ongoing surge in interest on area studies in the region.
