Perhaps the first e-journal from Kenya, this is the newsletter (number 12
for October 1996) of the The International Union for the Conservation of
Nature/Species Survival Commission. Field reports from a variety of
locations around the globe: a concentration in this issue on the former
Soviet Union and Eastern Europe, with articles like "Bear cubs
re-introduced into the wild, Russia" and "Translocations of endangered
phebaliumspp, S. Australia": covers birds, plants, and mammals.
Re-Introduction News is an electronic version of the print newsletter of
the Re-introduction Specialist Group of IUCN'S Species Survival Commission
