This journal focuses on the study of the social and structural aspects of
race and racism as basic organizing principles in society. Race and Society
aims to advance the social sciences on the subject of race and racism
through high quality theoretical and empirical studies utilizing both micro-
and macrostructural perspectives. Race and Society welcomes studies in
anthropology, economics, history, political science, sociology, social
psychology and other social science fields. Race and Society is especially
interested in studies that focus on African Americans, Latinos, Asian
Americans and Native Americans.
