The Revista Brasileira de Zoologia RBZool, the journal of the Sociedade 
Brasileira de Zoologia SBZ was founded in 1982. It is intended to 
publish original scientific articles on Zoology authored by members who 
are current in their annual dues. At least, four issues are published 
per year.

In 21 years of existence and publishing without any interruption, RBZool 
counts on the members contribution and, at the moment, has a partnership 
with Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico 
(CNPq) that has been providing financial support to publish the printed 
and on line editions.
