The Revista Colombiana de Gastroenterología (Colombian Journal of
Gastroenterology) is an official publication of the Asociación Colombiana de
Gastroenterologia, (Colombian Association of Gastroenterology), by quarterly
issue which started its uninterrupted circulation in 1986 and also counts on
the active participation of the Asociacion Colombiana de Endoscopia
Digestiva (Colombian Association of Digestive Endoscopy), the Asociaci{on
Colombiana de Hepatología (Colombian Association of Hepatology) and the
Asociación Colombiana de Coloproctología (Colombian Association of
Coloproctology).

The primary aim of the Journal is the diffusion of the scientific, research,
academic and administrative activities of the members of the Association and
of the medical or health care professionals, either nationals or foreigners,
who are working in the fields of Gastroenterology, Digestive Endoscopy,
Hepatology, Coloproctology or other branches of medicine.
