RAE-eletrônica is a generalist Business Administration journal that tries to
address a wide range of knowledge domains, perspectives and issues.

RAE-eletrônica was released in January, 2002, with an academic and
scientific profile and intended for professors, researchers and students in
the fields of Management and allied areas.

One of the goals in releasing RAE-eletrônica was to acquire agility in the
publication of original Management papers. Furthermore, the free and
comprehensive access provided by the Internet lend increased visibility to
RAE-eletrônica collaborators.

RAE-eletrônica is a generalist Business Administration journal that tries to
address a wide range of knowledge domains, perspectives and issues.

RAE-eletrônica's target public lies with academia - professors, researchers
and students - and with a significant portion of the business community. It
is, therefore, an audience for content with great analytical depth and
consistency.

The main requirement for publication in RAE-eletrônica is for an article to
represent a true contribution to the science. This requirement can be
further divided into the following topics:

The topic must be relevant and meaningful in the light of the present
context and situation.

The theoretical and conceptual point of reference must reflect the
state-of-the-art in the field.

The article must develop in line with the principles of scientific knowledge
construction. 

The conclusion must be clear and concise, pointing out the article's
contributions to managerial theory and/or practice.

We also expect articles published in RAE-eletrônica to challenge established
knowledge and practices with provocative and innovative perspectives.

RAE-eletrônica is interested in published theoretical development papers,
empirical studies and essays.

Theoretical development papers must be seated on comprehensive literature
reviews and propose new models and interpretations for relevant Business
Administration phenomena.

Empirical studies must develop knowledge by means o methodologically sound,
carefully conducted and appropriately analyzed surveys.

Essays, are more free-form contributions. They should be characterized by
critical and creative approaches, revealing new insights and fostering
reflection on relevant topics in their area of knowledge.

Articles may be provided in Portuguese, Spanish, English and French.
