SQU: Journal for Scientific Research- Medical Sciences is a 
peer-reviewed journal that publishes articles on basic and applied 
research in various medical disciplines, is one of the four academic 
journals published by Sultan Qaboos University. The Journal publishes 
basic and applied peer-reviewed articles in various medical disciplines, 
and is intended to serve a wide range of specialists and bring together 
quality papers dealing with accident & emergency, anaesthesia, anatomy, 
behavioural medicine, biochemistry, child health, epidemiology & medical 
statistics, family & community health, haematology, clinical & 
biomedical physics, medicine, microbiology & immunology, obstetrics & 
gynaecology, ophthalmology, pathology, pharmacology, physiology, 
radiology and surgery.

The Journal is published in print and on web. The following issues are 
available online: October 2001, April 2001, October 2000, January 
2000 (in HTML and PDF) and January 1999 (abstracts only). All future issues 
will be posted online.  Access is free.
