         As an online magazine written by teachers for teachers, TOSS-UP
 aims to build a resource which will help educators explore issues about
 effective learning and teaching and the Internet. TOSS-UP will cater for
 new and experienced users alike by becoming a place to share stories on
 the joy or pain of interneting.  TOSS-UP is for all involved in
 educational computing, teachers, teacher aides, lecturers, home tutors,
 administrators and parents.
         There will be four main areas for stories, Connections,
 Curriculum, Information Skills and Professional Development and a number
 of other sections. These include, a resource section of pointers to good
 resources as recommended by other educators. A Soapbox where readers can
 discuss a topical issue and a number of columns covering a range of
 issues.
