Teacher Education and Special Education (TESE) aims to stimulate and improve
the preparation of those who will teach and otherwise work with and for
children with disabilities. It encourages research on questions relating to
exceptionality and to the teaching of children with disabilities.
TESE encourages thoughtful consideration of the critical issues shaping the
future of teacher education. The journal publishes: (a) reports of original
research, (b) comprehensive evaluations of personnel preparation programs or
components thereof, (c) theoretically based discussions of advancing
practices in personnel preparation, and (d) interpretive or critical reviews
of the literature.
