Publisher: HMP Communications
Vascular Disease Management is a new publication designed for professionals
in the peripheral interventional field: invasive cardiologists, vascular
surgeons, interventional neurologists, interventional radiologists, as well
as nephrologists and endocrinologists.
Unlike many of the established peer-review journals, VDM incorporates a
unique format which places great emphasis on readability and practical
relevance. The articles, discussions, and other features will focus largely
on issues surrounding clinical decision-making, new technologies, and
current trends in the treatment of blood vessel disorders.
The composition of the editorial board is an accurate reflection of VDM¹s
intent and spirit, with distinguished representation of the four major
specialties involved in vascular care today (cardiology, radiology, vascular
medicine, and vascular surgery) by renowned leaders in their field. They
will undoubtedly provide more than the necessary ingredients to create a
fully flavored scientific magazine that can be embraced with interest by
all.
A single issue may discuss topics such as carotid stenting, lower limb
salvage, future treatments of fibrous uterine tumors, embolic protection,
MRI imaging techniques and managing diabetic patients. Vascular Disease
Management will provide a practical and educational forum for readers
seeking to improve their knowledge of this diverse field.
