Werken is a journal of Social Sciences, a publication space for spreading
investigations, ideas, proposals, analysis, critics, revisions and opinions
of diverse origins, tones and calibers, an means of presentation and
diffusion of works made by investigators of different disciplines.

Our interest is centered around problems of investigation related to Social
Sciences, mainly within three compatible disciplines, linked by a humanist
perspective: Archaeology, Anthropology and History. We understand that these
three disciplines consider common themes focussing to the Man around a
diachronic perspective, that tries to understand the past, its development
in the present and the possible directions and tendencies towards the
future.
